Field Service Engineer

Invenia has partnered with a global leader in scientific tools and services to find a Technical Field Service Engineer.

This role will be supporting specialist measuring instruments that are used in industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, energy, mining, scientific research, environmental, etc.

The Role:

This position is a field service engineer role that will also have some application responsibilities. It will be responsible for supporting customers across the EMEA. There are two large clients based in Sweden, this is where the travel requirements will center around.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing service and some technical commitments they have to their customers including installations, data analysis, calibrations, maintenance, training, etc.
• Provide pre-and post-sales support in the measuring systems
• Service reporting, documentation, and creation of protocols
• Maintain a high level of customer service and build strong relationships with customers
• etc.

What we are looking for:

• Diploma or equivalent education in engineering
• 2+ years of field experience that includes delivering technical services and/or application support.
• Preferably have material science and/or process engineering experience
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills, passionate about electromechanical, software, and application issues.

In return, the company is offering a salary of SEK: 450,000 – 680,000 (annually) plus a bonus, pension, company car healthcare, etc.

This is a field-based role and candidates must be happy to travel around the territory.
