Invenia Group is partnered with a pharmaceutical CMO that is responsible for the product development, product registration, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of high-quality affordable Rx generics. We are looking for a proven industry leader to lead their key US manufacturing facility. This is a business-critical role that reports directly to the CEO.

Role responsibilities: 

If successful, you will take full P&L responsibility. You will lead the cross-functional site leadership team across operations, supply chain, pharma development, engineering, EHS, quality, and HR, as well as the following:

  • Develop and execute operational strategy and plan, in alignment with market and sales strategy
  • Set and deliver objectives in safety, quality, customer service, people, and finance
  • Implement site policies and procedures to improve and sustain operational performance
  • Identify and implement Operational Excellence programs to reduce operating costs and increase productivity
  • Prepare Site Master plan and annual operating and capital budget, lead capital budget execution
  • Responsible for Talent Management and Development, including annual performance review and employee engagement/retention strategy

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (with CMO experience being preferable). You should have demonstrated success in managing and developing a large manufacturing organization and a proven track record in managing complex capital projects, developing and launching new products, and executing impactful operational excellence programs. You must also possess the following:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs and interactions with the regulatory inspector at all levels
  • Ability to communicate and execute strategic and operational plans
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills at all employment levels and to executive leadership
  • Proficient at analyzing the financial reports and a good understanding of cost accounting principal
  • Ability to relate and build rapport with people from a diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Hands-on leadership style
