We are partnered with a speciality international pharmaceutical company, looking to hire a Business Development Manager with 505(b)(2) experience located in the US. At an exciting time of company growth, you will have an important role to play within the company’s expansion plans by seeking opportunities for portfolio development and licensing opportunities.

Role responsibilities:

Identifying, negotiating, and concluding business deals whilst utilising internal stakeholder groups to propose new partnership opportunities. You will:

• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s business development strategy
• Take care of the management of existing and new partnerships, developing strong relationships
• Develop a business development ‘wish list’ and actively seek new product ideas
• Be a part of internal collaboration
• Utilise and build an external network that creates new business opportunities
• Provides regular reporting on, but not limited to, account performance, risk and opportunities and future forecasts
• Attending industry conferences to identify new opportunities

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with several years of experience across the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on business development and in-licensing of 505(b)(2)s. You should also have a proven history demonstrating strength in areas such as collaboration, negotiation, strategic analysis and continual improvement.
