Account Executive DACH – Precision Genomics SaaS (Remote, DACH Region)

An innovative and fast-growing company within the precision medicine and clinical genomics space is looking to hire an Account Executive DACH to support its expansion across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

If you are passionate about next-generation sequencing (NGS), digital health, and bringing transformative SaaS technologies into clinical and laboratory settings, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive impact at the heart of genomic medicine.

About the Role

As the Account Executive DACH, you will take ownership of a high-potential territory, combining new business development with strategic account management. You will partner with leading hospitals, public laboratories, and clinical organisations to introduce cutting-edge genomic interpretation platforms and support their transition towards more personalised, data-driven healthcare.

You will:

✅ Develop and grow profitable, long-term customer relationships using a consultative, value-based selling approach

✅ Identify new opportunities and convert them into successful partnerships

✅ Understand key clinical, scientific, and economic trends shaping decision-making in today’s healthcare landscape

✅ Present technology solutions to technical, commercial, and leadership teams

✅ Drive effective negotiation to maintain healthy margins and accelerate closing cycles

✅ Build, manage, and forecast a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline

✅ Maintain accurate account and CRM data across your territory

✅ Introduce customers to new genomic platforms, solutions, and product releases

✅ Provide continuous market feedback to internal teams to support strategic initiatives

This is a field-based role with approximately 50% travel across the DACH region.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

✔ A scientific background (Bac+5 / MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Genomics, or related field)

✔ Strong knowledge of NGS, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or the broader life sciences market

✔ Experience selling SaaS, software solutions, or digital tools into clinical or laboratory environments

✔ A demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

✔ Fluency in German and English

✔ A proactive mindset, curiosity for innovation, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-moving environment
