We are partnering with an innovative and fast-growing genomics company that is transforming the interpretation and clinical application of genomic data within precision medicine and molecular diagnostics.

As part of its continued international expansion, the company is seeking a Field Application Scientist to support customers across France and wider European markets.

This is a highly visible and scientifically driven role at the intersection of genomics, bioinformatics and clinical diagnostics, offering the opportunity to work closely with leading laboratories, hospitals and research institutions adopting advanced NGS technologies.

The Opportunity

The Field Application Scientist will serve as a key scientific and technical expert supporting customers throughout the implementation and use of cutting-edge genomics solutions.

This role requires a rare combination of strong wet lab expertise and bioinformatics knowledge, with the ability to engage confidently with both laboratory scientists and computational teams within clinical and research environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers to support workflow integration, troubleshooting, scientific discussions and ongoing technical success across NGS and clinical genomics applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific and technical support to customers across clinical genomics and molecular diagnostics environments
  • Support onboarding, implementation and optimisation of NGS workflows and genomics solutions
  • Deliver product demonstrations, customer training and scientific presentations
  • Troubleshoot both wet lab and bioinformatics-related technical challenges
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, product and development teams
  • Support customers using sequencing technologies within oncology, rare disease and precision medicine applications
  • Build strong relationships with laboratories, clinicians, bioinformaticians and scientific stakeholders
  • Represent the company at scientific meetings, conferences and industry events

Candidate Profile

  • MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics or related life sciences discipline
  • Strong hands-on wet lab experience with NGS workflows, library preparation and sequencing technologies
  • Strong understanding of bioinformatics pipelines, genomic data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience supporting clinical genomics, molecular diagnostics or precision medicine environments
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to engage both scientific and computational stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and innovative environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Willingness to travel as required
