We’re currently supporting an innovative international life sciences organisation as it continues to strengthen its commercial team across Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Account Manager to take ownership of the market in Italy, working closely with hospitals, clinical laboratories and research organisations to support the adoption of advanced molecular diagnostic solutions.

The role combines strategic account management, consultative sales and business development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term partnerships while driving commercial growth in a scientifically driven environment.

The Role

As Clinical Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing business across Italy by building trusted relationships with clinical and laboratory stakeholders, identifying new commercial opportunities and supporting existing customers.

Working alongside applications specialists, product teams and marketing colleagues, you will help customers implement innovative technologies that support clinical and translational research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan across Italy.
  • Build long-term relationships with hospitals, clinical laboratories and research institutions.
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities.
  • Grow existing customer accounts while expanding the territory.
  • Lead consultative sales discussions with scientific, clinical and procurement stakeholders.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and commercial forecasts.
  • Represent the organisation at customer meetings, scientific conferences and industry events.
  • Collaborate closely with internal commercial, technical and marketing teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.

About You

We’re keen to speak with professionals who bring:

  • A degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Several years of commercial experience within molecular diagnostics, genomics, life sciences or laboratory technologies.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, clinical laboratories or healthcare organisations.
  • A consultative sales approach and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Professional fluency in local language and English.
  • The ability to work independently while managing their territory.

Experience within oncology, precision medicine, rare disease, infectious disease or clinical genomics would be advantageous.
