Do you have a strong life science background and significant sales experience within the region of Walloon Belgium?

Our client is a global biotechnology leader providing pharmaceutical, biotech, academia, and CROs with reputable instruments and assays. Within their European sales teams, they are currently looking for an AM responsible for the management of sales and providing customers with great technical expertise across the territory.

Among their key responsibilities, the successful person will be:

  • Managing the ongoing relationship with clients and making sure that they are providing them with excellent solution development and implementation
  • They will be prospecting for new clients and promoting the company’s products organizing demos and technical presentations
  • We are looking for someone who can work across teams with the different time zone in the US and someone who can support the product portfolio including highly capital equipment, reagents, and services

What we are looking for:

  • Given the technical nature of the role, we need someone with a strong life science background and an individual with significant sales experience within the region of Walloon Belgium ( South of Belgium), Luxembourg. We are looking for someone who has proven experience selling capital equipment and someone who can communicate clearly and effectively in French and in English.
  • A great understanding of the pharma/ biotech industry as well as research institutes in Belgium as well as excellent technical expertise in drug discovery or related protein discovery field is a must.
  • We need someone who is a self-starter and ambitious to be successful in their commercial role.
  • The successful AM in this role will be working from a home office and traveling frequently across the territory.
  • We need a motivated field salesperson who has an eye on the competition and is willing to take challenges positively by keeping a positive can-do attitude at all times.
  • This role will be suitable for an energetic and goal-oriented salesperson who can organize and prioritize their agenda always keeping in mind their targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills will be essential to be successful as well as the ability to multitask within a fast-paced and independent environment.
