We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client’s team as a Life Sciences Account Manager for the territory of Belgium. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: As the Life Sciences Account Manager, you will have the autonomy to independently manage the sales territory, identify and pursue new opportunities, and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Customer Engagement: You will actively consult with customers, showcasing our wide range of products and solutions. Your role is to understand their unique needs and provide tailored recommendations that enhance their research and lab operations.
  • Product Advocacy: Collaborate with our Product Management team to collect valuable insights and ideas for product enhancements and extensions. Your feedback will directly influence our product development and innovation.
  • Market Representation: Be the face of our company at trade fairs, embodying our commitment to excellence and building brand awareness within the life sciences community.
  • Analytical Expertise: Conduct needs analyses, prepare quotations, and diligently follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor and control sales performance, providing timely and insightful reports to the management.
  • Support and Collaboration: Assist the Product Management team with your knowledge and insights, working in harmony with cross-functional teams.


  • Educational Background: A degree in a natural science or commercial-technical field.
  • Sales Experience: 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the field of laboratory supplies.
  • Proactive Approach: We are seeking a self-confident, highly motivated individual with a proactive attitude who is ready to take responsibility and drive projects forward.
  • Team Player: A strong team player with excellent social and communication skills. Your ability to collaborate effectively is key to success in this role.
  • Organizational Skills: You are known for your exceptional organizational skills, the ability to balance multiple projects, and set clear priorities.
  • Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel, with a maximum of 50% travel required and approximately 10% of those trips involving overnight stays.
  • Strong language skills in Dutch and French are compulsory to be successful in this role
