Invenia Group is partnered with a leading international pharmaceutical company, that is seeking an experienced and driven professional to take on the role of Associate Vice President of Sales Force Effectiveness – EMENA.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for overseeing the Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Strategy for Europe – leading and executing a range of SFE initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the European sales organisation. This will result in increased sales and customer satisfaction, maintaining our client’s competitive advantage in the market, and helping to achieve their commercial objectives. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee the assessment of sales process gaps, provide subject matter expert guidance around solutions, and develop and implement the SFE strategy for the region
  • Oversee the definition of the sales competency models and profile
  • Collaborate with business partners in the development of tools and resources that drive improved sales performance
  • Support Market Assessments (Pre, Actual, Post, and ongoing action plan support).
  • Drive best practice sharing in sales across the Franchises, and lead the improvement of sales skills in the EMA organization
  • Map the training & development needs of the sales organisation and work with markets on the development of programs for Sales Reps and Sales Management in order to improve skills and sales performance
  • Sales Force Automation and SFE Analytics reporting
  • Partnering with IT, lead the implementation and improvement of CRM solutions and new technologies to enhance sales organization performance
  • Develop and improve processes to capture and communicate SFE metrics
  • Recommend and help to establish a performance management system for Sales Reps and ensure that reward and recognition systems drive desired Sales Team behaviors
  • Identify market-related information needs, and possible data sources in collaboration with sales, sales operations, and marketing

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, economics, or life sciences, (MBA is advantageous). You should have SFE experience on a managerial level, the ability to work cross-functionally within a rapidly growing company, and international experience. 

You should also be action-oriented, communicate effectively, be customer-focused and drive results with a strategic mindset. Training experience and previous setup of relevant systems & processes are also advantageous.
