This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading manufacturers of medical laboratory diagnostics worldwide. Here, you will join an expanding company, with products used in laboratories in over 80 countries over the world for the diagnosis of autoimmune and infectious diseases as well as allergies, and to perform genetic analyses.

Role responsibilities: 

If successful, you will work closely with the National Sales Manager and Product Teams to complete technical and commercial responses for tender processes and will independently research and identify new business opportunities in the North of England including Manchester, Newcastle, and Leeds. You will be responsible for the commercial activities of the company’s product portfolios.

Key duties include seeking out contacts and arranging meetings with prospective clients, developing and implementing a strategy to expand customer base and generate business growth, and regularly reporting summaries of business activities and opportunities to management.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who has a technical understanding of the company. You should also have previous experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role, and experience within the NHS and diagnostic industry is also desired.
