Invenia Group has partnered with an international corporation developing next-gen AI platforms to accelerate drug discovery. The company is now looking to hire a Cheminformaticion/Python Back-end Developer for the R&D team to develop and improve their product features. This is a remote role based in Canada.
Role responsibilities:
- Analyze, research, and develop product features with advanced chemoinformatics capabilities.
- Integrate the developed algorithms into drug discovery pipelines.
- Develop and maintain a database for chemoinformatics data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure that the code and components comply with internal quality standards.
What we are looking for:
- We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in Python Programming, knowledge of RDKit or a similar library and experience in Numpy, Pandas, JupyterLab and GIT.
- You should also have experience with Mongo DB or other NoSQL databases with a strong knowledge of Chemoinformatics and molecular modelling.
- Additional experience in Chemical Space Analysis and knowledge of molecular similarity measurements & machine learning would be preferable.
