Invenia Group is partnered with a global healthcare company focused on high-value medicines and healthcare solutions covering various therapeutic areas. This internationally recognised innovative organisation is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Organisation Manager for the European region to join their rapidly expanding business.

Role responsibilities:

The CMO Manager will promote the company’s sites as a CMO, manufacture commercial products per the customer plan, and manage the technical transfer for all CMO and CDMO projects. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Build a network of senior-level contacts across target organisations
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders needed for the manufacturing process
  • Manage project budget, budget development, monitoring, and reporting; ensure the cost of production targets are met; and actively oversee forecasting, capacity planning, and project management
  • Prepare the quotation, discuss the prices with the customer, prepare a P&L with finance and decide accordingly, finalise the deal, and review the contract
  • Sourcing for the right partners and promoting the company as a qualified contract manufacturing site in the EU
  • To develop business for contract manufacturing activities of the company from existing and new clients from EU markets
  • Review and align on final production & delivery
  • Prepare for purchase requisition for products and for finished goods basis planning and follow-up with procurement for purchase orders
  • Support Internal & External Audit with documents & explanations
  • Lead cross-functional teams with clear accountability for performance and ensure the quality, cost, and delivery of products
  • Drive continuous improvement at contract manufacturing sites and work closely with internal quality, supply chain, and process development organizations
  • Increase professional industry knowledge and training

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline and several years of experience in the EU generic pharmaceutical business development sector. You should have proven experience in handling a contract manufacturing position and a high level of analytical capabilities, as well as exceptional cross-cultural communication skills and core values that include; customer-first, honesty, fairness, respect, passion-for-success, positive impact, and ownership.
