We have partnered with a global scientific equipment leader who is seeking a Director of Field Service (Northern Europe) to oversee service operations across Germany, the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, and wider Northern Europe. This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering world-class service standards, driving customer satisfaction, and aligning field service with company objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and mentor field service leaders and teams across multiple countries.
- Drive operational excellence in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services.
- Manage budgets, resources, and workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and support teams to enhance service outcomes.
- Implement LEAN practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer-first strategies.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in field service management, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or technical instrumentation.
- Proven leadership in managing multi-country service teams.
- Strong understanding of service delivery, customer relations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.
- Ability to travel regularly across Northern Europe.
