We have partnered with a global scientific equipment leader who is seeking a Director of Field Service (Northern Europe) to oversee service operations across Germany, the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, and wider Northern Europe. This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering world-class service standards, driving customer satisfaction, and aligning field service with company objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and mentor field service leaders and teams across multiple countries.
  • Drive operational excellence in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and support teams to enhance service outcomes.
  • Implement LEAN practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer-first strategies.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in field service management, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or technical instrumentation.
  • Proven leadership in managing multi-country service teams.
  • Strong understanding of service delivery, customer relations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly across Northern Europe.
