We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Field Services Technician to join our team. As a Field Services Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and conducting installations, repairs, maintenance, and tests of technical equipment. Your goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize customer retention, and increase profitability.
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service and support to customers during field and in-house visits or dispatches
- Manage on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and provide appropriate solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Ensure accurate documentation of processes in a timely manner
- Operate vehicles safely and utilize field automation systems
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Communicate with customers regarding the progress of their service file
- Build positive relationships with customers
What we are looking for:
- Degree in electricity, mechanics, or a similar field
- Minimum 2 years of proven field service experience with a strong mechanical background
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
- High customer orientation and strong team spirit
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Good command of spoken and written English and French
