Role Overview:

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their client’s team in the Benelux region, encompassing both Benelux and Nordics.

Reporting to the International Service Manager, the successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering top-tier technical support to their diverse and continually growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute installations and qualification (IQOQPQ) of specialized instruments at client sites
  • Perform on-site service, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our equipment
  • Assess maintenance requirements and create action plans for instrument servicing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records
  • Additional responsibilities may vary depending on departmental needs

Qualifications:

While a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, they are open to considering candidates with equivalent years of pertinent experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of 3 years of experience in field service is required, and a background in life sciences is considered an advantage. Familiarity with ISO and GMP practices is beneficial, as is proficiency in using basic hand tools and inspection equipment.

 Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in instrument repair with a strong grasp of mechanical dynamics
  • A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, along with analytical skills
  • A logical approach to problem-solving and demonstrated organizational skills for managing project tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate issues and results clearly
  • Outstanding organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related software, with previous experience in SalesForce.com, considered a plus
  • Demonstrated creativity and adaptability, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic production environment
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently completing assignments with minimal supervision
