We are now looking for a Field Service Technician to join the growing team.

Key responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of our client’s diverse product range.
  • Prioritize and execute repair operations for PLATINUM contract customers, ensuring guaranteed equipment function within 48 hours.
  • Install equipment and perform subsequent qualification.
  • Provide training for users and technicians.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to enhance customer service.
  • Document all activities in the ERP and ERP Field Service App.
  • Serve as the first line of response to technical issues for customers and sales representatives.
  • Manage spare parts, test equipment, and tools needed in the field.
  • Demonstrate willingness to build and lead a team of technicians in the Benelux countries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications – Essential:

  • Minimum of two years in a field service role with expertise in customer service, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of Electrical and Electronic systems/principles.
  • Experience in repairing electrical equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapid response environment.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Attention to detail with a quality process-driven approach.
  • Full EU driving license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% overnight.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications – Desirable:

  • Background in electro-mechanical engineering supported by a technical qualification.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Work experience as a team leader.
