Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician / Field Service Technician to join our client’s expanding team in Germany.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, installing, and providing training on our automation solutions at customer sites.
  • Additionally, you will perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot electrical or mechanical challenges, and provide technical support to our customers via phone or email.
  • You will play a crucial role as the primary link between customers and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission, install, and train customers on automation solutions at their sites.
  • Perform regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or mechanical challenges as they arise.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone or email.
  • Document service activities using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and our company.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a chemical vocational training program.
  • Interest in electronics or mechanics.
  • Ideally, two years of experience as a chemical laboratory technician or chemical technician.
  • Strong systematic and logical work methods, with excellent manual skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
  • Proactive, self-responsible, and hands-on oriented.
  • Fluent in both German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany from Monday to Friday, with hotel stays (possibly abroad).
  • Possession of a class B driver’s license.
