Invenia Group is partnered with a patient-focused specialty pharmaceutical company looking to hire a Hospital Portfolio Manager responsible for leading and coordinating customer and stakeholder engagement, including contracting and end-to-end tender and bid processes. This role will have oversight of the Hospital product portfolio from a commercial perspective, ensuring compliant, competitive, and commercially sound submissions that support revenue growth, profitability and strategic objectives. The role acts as the central interface between commercial, medical, regulatory, supply chain, finance, legal and sustainability teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Commercial team to shape competitive pricing, value propositions, and contracting strategies for the hospital portfolio.
  • Analyse buying and tender requirements, scoring criteria, and market dynamics to optimise win probability.
  • Support contract award implementation, including account management and engagement with operations and finance teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities and new portfolio targets to grow Hospital business
  • Optimise the Company portfolio through “off-contract sales to hospitals (i.e. non-tender)”
  • Own and manage the full customer contracting and tender lifecycle: opportunity assessment, bid/no-bid decision support, submission, clarification, negotiation, and award.
  • Ensure all tenders are delivered accurately, on time, and in full compliance with customer, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain tender timelines, deliverables, and governance checkpoints.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of off-contract sales process, previous successes (examples) and a network of contacts that can influence the uptake of Company products
  • Proven experience in tender, bid, or proposal management (in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, MedTech, similar regulated environments).
  • Experience working cross-functionally in matrix organisations.
  • Familiarity with public procurement frameworks and contracting models (e.g. NHS, EU tenders) is essential
  • Experience in Commercial Finance or Pricing functions advantageous
  • Degree in business, life sciences, or a related discipline desired.
