Invenia Group has partnered with a leading manufacturer of Life Science Tools who are looking to hire a Human Resources Manager for the Netherlands and Belgium. This is a pivotal time to join the company as you will have a hand in implementing new processes after a recent spin-out. In this role, you will collaborate with the Northern Europe HR team as well as other functions.

Responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the business strategy & priorities of the Global Business Units and Support Units as well as the Global HR road map. Then translate these into an Integrated HR Strategy execution across Belgium and the Netherlands. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the entire employee life cycle
  • Lead the delivery of initiatives and projects across the Netherlands and Belgium e.g. M&A, HR program implementation etc.
  • Work with Senior Stakeholders to provide them with appropriate coaching and guidance concerning organizational changes, workforce capability requirements, talent development, culture transformation etc.
  • Create country and site engagement among employees in collaboration with key leaders
  • Get to know key talent in the region and keep abreast of highlights including business activity and employee morale etc.
  • Use key HR indicators to make informed HR decisions
  • Effectively resolve directly complex HR situations within a legal framework and the company’s values
  • Collaborate with the rewards team to develop, implement, and maintain compensation and benefits programs/structures
  • Partner with internal/external legal counsel to comply with labour law requirements and ensure adherence to requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience for the Netherlands and Belgium market including knowledge of local law etc.
  • Experience working and negotiating with Works Councils, Unions and other third-party employment groups
  • Needs to speak English and Dutch

  • French language skills are desirable

This is a remote role, however, there will be a travel requirement associated with it.
