Invenia Group is working with a rapidly expanding specialist manufacturer of scientific instrumentation to hire multiple Inside Sales Account Managers. The company manufactures specialist Immunoassay instrumentation and reagents used in Drug Discovery and Immunology research. They have a great reputation in the market for the quality performance of their products and are constantly seeking to advance their technology platforms.

This is an exciting time to join as you will be supporting them through the next phase of growth and commercialization of their technology and products.

Role Responsibilities:

This is a newly created position due to growth. This role will be responsible for selling the company’s products and services.

This role will be responsible for the development of revenue through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishing and developing relationships with existing and potential customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Negotiate contracts and execute pricing strategy to maintain existing business and expand the development of new business
  • Recognize market trends and gain competitive intelligence within the territory. Communicate this market information with the wider commercial team.
  • Maintain current customer information in the CRM database
  • Follow up with leads by cold calling potential customers
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Support marketing efforts

What we are looking for:

For this, we are looking for someone with a Degree or higher in a biology-related subject. We are someone with a proven sales record within the life science market.
