Do you have previous sales experience and proven success in the Life Sciences field?

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for our market-leading client’s reagents business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in a defined territory within the Southern Europe region, with a focus on France.

You will work remotely, managing your own territory and collaborating closely with a high-performing team across a matrixed organization. Your key responsibilities will include proactively contacting existing and potential customers, generating and closing sales opportunities, enhancing distributor productivity, understanding customer needs, coordinating marketing campaigns, and maintaining accurate customer data in our CRM system.


  • Take ownership of sales and drive growth in a defined territory, expanding customer base and wallet share
  • Proactively contact existing and potential customers by phone or email, evaluate and qualify leads, and close sales opportunities
  • Enhance distributor productivity through engagement and support activities
  • Field questions and understand customer needs related to our offering of Reagents to support researchers in DNA, RNA, and protein-level studies
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and other Sales teams to initiate and coordinate marketing campaigns and lead-generation activities
  • Record customer interactions and maintain the accuracy of customer data in our CRM system
  • Route non-sales and post-sales related inquiries to relevant teams, such as Technical Support
  • Undertake relevant project work and additional responsibilities as appropriate and agreed upon

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Key Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher in a life sciences-related subject, such as molecular biology; MSc or Ph.D. preferable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent French speaking is essential; Italian and Spanish desirable as additional languages
  • Distributor management experience is desirable
  • Some travel may be necessary on an occasional basis.
