As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of their growth trajectory, responsible for nurturing relationships and driving business expansion in Wallonia, Brussels, and Luxembourg.

Role Overview:

They are seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to join their team in Belgium. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in accelerating market access, executing area strategies, and fostering new customer relationships.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the growth of their core lab businesses and cater to the evolving needs of current customers.
  • Identify and seize new business opportunities at the account level, ensuring consistent expansion.
  • Engage in consultative selling, presenting the company’s product portfolio to existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Laboratory Specialists & Field Engineers, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Oversee CRM management, facilitate internal division tasks, and forecast accurately.
  • Promote knowledge-sharing and best practices among peers, contributing to individual and group success.
  • Own accountability for delivering business results in alignment with the business plan.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in the scientific/healthcare sector (e.g., biology, diagnostics, medical technologies).
  • Proven track record in account management, sales, or product support, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar organizational environment (preferably diagnostics).
  • Customer-centric approach with an unwavering commitment to customer excellence.
  • Results-oriented mindset, resilient, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in identifying and seizing business opportunities, displaying persistence in the face of challenges.
  • Strong background in tender management and success in core lab operations.
  • Convincing communicator with effective negotiation skills, particularly with demanding customers.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and initiative-driven.
  • Fluent in French, with a high level of English language proficiency; basic Dutch skills are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and accommodate flexible work arrangements.
