Invenia Group has partnered with a market-leading manufacturer of NGS technology who due to an internal promotion are seeking somebody to take over a warm, high-performing territory focussed around the Bay area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of 5 Sales people on the West Coast working alongside a FAS and a Lead Generation Specialist reporting directly to the Sales Director.

The company have retained their small company feel but also has the stability of a long tenure in the industry, strong funding and employs 150+ people globally.

This hire is a continuation of this year’s expansion which has included heavy reinvestment back into the company’s systems, elevation of talent and establishment of new best practices.

We are looking for:

  • Experience selling DNA, RNA or NGS Capital equipment as a preference however Liquid Handling or Mass Spectrometry will also be considered
  • A strong existing customer network around the Bay Area
  • Desire to work in a hunting role as part of a collaborative environment
  • Be based around 1 hour from the Bay area

The company are able to offer flexibility on the package, finding the right person is key, however, the salary range/package can be found below:

Base Salary

  • Competitive Base salary
  • $70k on target commission – Potential to accelerate up to 300%
    • (Commission guaranteed for first quarter and 70% for 2nd quarter of the year)

The interview process will take around 2 weeks and involve speaking with 3-4 senior individuals across different business functions with no presentation required.
