Invenia Group has partnered with a biopharmaceutical company who are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead a sales team within the life sciences markets across Turkey.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within a specified geographical area or a designated customer group. Your primary focus will be to implement sales strategies, monitor results, and ensure alignment with our short-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute the sales strategy for the assigned area and closely monitor sales results to achieve targets.
- Team Management: Build and manage an efficient sales team to deliver on business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Integrated Solutions Sales: Oversee the implementation of our Integrated Solutions sales process, from lead identification to the development of disposable business and financial solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and expand relationships with existing customers by offering solutions that align with their goals.
- Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their efforts.
- Client Engagement: Deliver detailed presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.
- Collaboration: Act as a communication bridge between key customers and internal teams, collaborating with all stakeholders within the organization.
- Reporting: Generate ad hoc and regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Market Coverage: Identify opportunities to enhance market coverage and expand our reach.
- Customer Support: Offer insights for customer support to address issues related to our products and services.
- Representation: Represent the company at various meetings, events, gatherings, and industry interest groups.
Qualifications & Skills
- Academic Background: An academic degree in business administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
- Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience and ideally experience managing a team of sales representatives. Transferable experience such as distribution/channel partner management can be considered suitable.
- Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience, preferably within the Life Science sector.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and make informed sales recommendations.
- Presentation Skills: Proficiency in effectively presenting technical information.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with professionals at all levels.
- Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Strong negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in software applications, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), financial tools, and other relevant software.
- Fluent in Turkish and English
