Invenia Group has partnered with a manufacturer of cutting-edge instrumentation with innovative applications within sequencing. Their technology gives researchers the opportunity to study the proteome at a much-improved scale, resolution, and sensitivity than they’ve been previously able to do.

Due to substantial investment and growth, they are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive for the NE region.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop appropriate accounts and specific sales plans for each of the product lines in the portfolio to meet sales goals and objectives, leveraging outbound sales prospecting tactics and responding promptly to inbound sales and marketing leads.
  • Successfully managed a complex sales process for capital equipment, reagents, and software services, and closed sales.
  • Deliver effective scientific/technical pitch presentations and demonstrations of our client’s sequencing platform.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with 5+ years or equivalent commercial experience, specifically sales and business development experience within the proteomics, molecular biology, or DNA sequencing markets & bachelor’s degree in life science.
