Invenia Group has partnered with a global healthcare company that produces high-quality medicines for patients in more than 150 countries and territories. We are now looking to hire a Senior Manager, Global Business Development for the company’s expanding Business Development team to be based remotely or as a hybrid model in NY. Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for assessing global markets and opportunities to determine the feasibility of strategic transactions, collaborations, or licensing. Other responsibilities will also include:

• Drive due diligence process for potential opportunities with both internal and external stakeholders; interpret and distill business implications to report findings to senior management.
• Prepare business cases for presentation to various internal stakeholders, including senior management.
• Developing and reviewing complex financial models to value and analyze custom needs on an opportunity.
• Identify potential opportunities for growth drivers; including participation in industry conferences, market research, and investigative meetings with companies.
• Leverage industry contacts/relationships to access new opportunities; expand the external network of the organization.
• Develop models to forecast the financial performance of a potential product, product line, or business, including contribution to revenue, expenditures, and net income to help determine the financial feasibility of an opportunity and advise management on the assumptions underlying models.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced industry Business Development Manager of 5-7 years with a bachelor’s degree. Related experience in investment banking/management consulting is also considered. You should have experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and possess a high level of financial and analytical acumen with the ability to translate financial elegantly and rapidly into presentation materials.
