Senior Product Line Manager

Invenia Group has partnered with one of the leading companies within the metrology industry to hire a Senior Product Line Manager for its growing team. This role will be based in the company’s San Jose office.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will support the company’s optical metrology and semiconductor products, and be responsible for driving the product line, supporting product marketing activities, shaping the roadmap, increasing market penetration, and managing junior product line personnel.

Other responsibilities include:

• Develop product requirements and specifications
• Support market development and promotion e.g. product definition, requirements, analysis, and pricing
• Support technical and product issues the field and factory teams may have
• Provide primary business planning to sales, operations, and finance teams for the marketing process
• Work with sales and marketing on the product life cycle
• Support the development of product roadmaps, product strategies, and product launches
• Lead competitive analysis and product positioning
• Understand customers’ needs to identify new product and application opportunities
• Work with the sales team on strategies to increase market share
• Help with the development of sales collateral

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Product Line Manager, preferably from the semiconductor or optical metrology market. You should have an understanding of financial concepts relating to contractual arrangements, and experience with complex, multi-million-dollar contracts (this is desired but not essential), and an understanding of financial concepts relating to contractual arrangements. You should also be willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
