The Role:

The Senior Systems Engineer will take concepts from ideas to products by defining architectures, requirements, features, interfaces, and user workflows.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading design tasks from concept to launch
  • Work with senior staff to design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical medical equipment for the domestic and international markets
  • Project manage key deliverables to ensure they meet budget
  • Prepare technical documentation resulting from the design process such as feasibility reports, use case analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, systems architecture, and hardware design documents
  • Work with senior staff in directing and coordinating the design, manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities for electrical medical equipment to ensure compliance with product specifications
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer complaints

What we are looking for:

  • Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, and extensive experience in engineering design.
  • Extensive Electrical design experience with experience in hardware engineering and designing circuits and systems.
  • Experience with electrical design tools, test tools, and simulation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to design and debug multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Experience with lab testing, evaluation, and characterization of prototypes
  • General knowledge of embedded hardware development
  • Expert knowledge of safety standards and general knowledge of Risk Management techniques
  • Experience in the medical device industry is desirable

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days onsite a week.

In return, the company is offering a salary of up to $150k depending on experience plus a 10% bonus and excellent benefits.
