Are you looking for an exciting new career opportunity within life sciences?

Invenia Group has partnered with a global instrumentation leader that is seeking a UK Service Manager to oversee field service, technical support, and service admin teams across the UK. You’ll manage a team of 4 regional leaders and 40 engineers, with full ownership of the UK region. 

This is a hybrid role, offering the chance to lead a large team while staying connected to strategic operations. 

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will lead and develop regional service leaders, field engineers, tech support, and admin and own and drive national service performance, OPEX, P&L, and SLA targets. You will also: 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and EMEA leadership
  • Implement service transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deliver customer excellence and resolve escalations with speed and care 

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in service leadership (UK or regional scope)
  • Background in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, or Medical Devices
  • Strong commercial mindset: budgeting, KPIs, revenue generation
  • Proven track record in leading high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in matrix/global organisations
  • Based within commuting distance to Watford area HQ (3 days onsite)
