A growing biotechnology company is expanding its commercial team and is hiring two Sales Specialists to cover the DACH region.
This is a customer-facing role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of science and business. You will partner with academic and commercial research organisations, acting as a trusted technical advisor and supporting the adoption of advanced genomics and sequencing solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and develop a defined DACH territory
- Build long-term relationships with research institutes, biotech, pharma and CROs
- Translate complex genomic technologies into clear, practical value for customers
- Support customers from early discussions through to implementation
- Deliver technical presentations, product demos and workflow advice
- Identify market trends, customer needs and new opportunities
- Travel across the region around 20%
What we’re looking for
- Fluent German and English
- Strong life sciences background, ideally MSc level or equivalent
- Good understanding of molecular biology, genomics or related disciplines
- Experience or strong interest in consultative, value-based sales
- Confident communicator with scientific and commercial stakeholders
- Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-moving growth environment
Nice to have
- Background in life sciences sales, applications or technical consulting
- Exposure to sequencing technologies, genomics or bioinformatics workflows
