Invenia Group is partnered with a leading mid-sized pharmaceutical company, which is looking for an experienced healthcare project manager to join their exceptionally fast-paced, dynamic and growing business as a Tender Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role with strategic and operational responsibility to ensure the achievement of the retail business unit goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Management

  • Responsibility for the preparation of the offer documents and their timely and proper transmission
  • Volume forecast preparation of the advertised products and continuous control of the quantity development with the demand planners
  • Quotation calculation taking into account the individual tendering strategy/tactic
  • Calculation of tender discount reserves
  • Consolidation of external and internal data to coordinate manufacturing costs with external suppliers to ensure a proper tender process
  • Quantify expected sales and profits at the item position level
  • Risk management

Development of strategic tender products and optimization of the product portfolio

  • Working with the local portfolio-building department and stakeholders in the global organization to optimize and expand the product portfolio
  • Support the Head of BU retail for the development of strategic tender products
  • Creation of forecast scenarios and business cases for identified opportunities / Tender Road Map

Business Intelligence

  • Participation and co-responsibility in business intelligence projects to improve budget planning, strategic planning and operational rolling forecasts

Skills & Experience Required

  • University degree in business administration/economics or science/mathematics
  • At least three years of professional or project experience, ideally in the healthcare market
  • Knowledge of the German health insurance tendering market
  • Project management experience
  • Strong abilities in analysis as well as in conception, high affinity in numbers and results-driven strength in implantation
  • Professional and personal competence to guide and manage projects independently
  • Team orientation and excellent communication
  • Proactive action and work
  • Good economic understanding, analytical and structured thinking and rapid development of the relevant questions
  • Independent and positive personality with high self-motivation and curiosity
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in German and English
  • Communication skills in dealing with internal and external interfaces
