Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the sales of the company’s products within the Flanders and South Netherland territories. You will achieve a sales budget through the growth of existing accounts and the development of new accounts, and you will demonstrate the ability to identify, advance, and close new business opportunities by creating and executing a strategic business plan. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Demonstrates advanced selling skills
  • Possess advanced product expertise and ability to cross-sell
  • Updates and maintains the CRM software tool
  • Communicates potential opportunities with the Regional Sales Manager and Product Managers
  • Demonstrates advanced expertise in strategic account planning, sales analysis, and time management
  • In collaboration with Product Managers, develops short and long-range strategies for product expansion
  • Makes presentations on new and existing products to current and potential customers
  • Devises new approaches to problems encountered
  • Assists in providing training to other Sales staff

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a strong molecular biology background, who is commercially experienced. You should have an MS or Ph.D., in the cell, molecular biology industry, or a related life science discipline, and 2+ years of successful sales experience at a life science research tools company. Flemish / Dutch and English fluency is also required for this role.

You should have 2-4 years of lab bench experience in cell or molecular biology, or a related discipline and a customer network (life science, pharma, biotech) would also be a strong asset.
