Invenia Group is working with an expanding manufacturer of specialist diagnostic testing solutions to hire an Account Manager based in the North East of England. This is an excellent time to join a stable global company that values its employees and offers a great work environment.

Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for selling haematology and clinical chemistry solutions to laboratories and hospitals across the North East of England and Scotland. This will be a mixture of managing existing accounts and acquiring new business.

  • Schedule appointments and deliver sales presentations/demos to potential customers
  • Actively find and sell to potential new customers
  • Build relationships with existing customers and gather key feedback on the market
  • Carry out contract renewals/extensions and tender management activities alongside the wider commercial team
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop core campaigns
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasting

What we are looking for

  • Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience selling diagnostic products in clinical labs.
  • we are happy to consider candidates with no sales experience if they are experienced Biomedical Scientists and looking to move into sales
  • Must be willing to travel around the assigned territory
