Invenia Group is partnered with a leading international pharmaceutical company, who are seeking an experienced and driven professional to take on the role of Associate Director to ensure that the regions Forecast Accuracy and Inventory targets are achieved. This requires an in-depth and detailed understanding and involvement with the markets, their customers and partners to ensure that SMART targets are created annually as part of the budget process.

The role will work closely with other stakeholders to understand the latest situations and segmentation as well as using advanced analytics to understand and predict the future status and then create and drive activities to ensure objectives are met and exceeded where possible. This requires close oversight and management of performance in all markets and pillars / franchises with coordination and execution of actions across the broad matrix of products, markets and functional stakeholder groups including Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Quality all at local, regional and global levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining forecast and inventory targets by channel / segment into annual Budget process
  • Ownership of the Forecast and Inventory review process across EMENA
  • Development of the metrics to ensure the right behaviours and decisions are made in all markets and functions
  • Coordinate and own the creation and execution of activities across all markets and functions to deliver high quality performance vs targets and drive an improvement in OOS’s
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies
  • Develop, scope and prioritise the activities for the future portfolio and product launches based on budget and update the Long-Range Plan accordingly. Provide a long- term outlook, gap analysis and roadmap for the business growth
  • Work with markets and franchises to leverage our capabilities to become a partner of choice
  • Own and drive activity in response to market volatilities & opportunities, proactively and reactively
  • Ensure a robust excess liquidation process is enhanced and managed with clear metrics to control and reduce inventory provisions
  • Constant seeking of areas of improvement and collecting feedback from affiliates to plan for actions to enhancement of compliant product availability
  • Provide guidance on key messages to be promoted at key meetings

 Skills & Experience Required:

  • Business administration or sciences degree is required
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of forecasting and inventory as well as an understanding of the commercial segmentation, operations and the competitor landscape and trends.
  • A good understanding of analytics as well as the ability to critically evaluate data and information
  • An understanding of the product lifecycle and production.
  • Knowledge of regulatory legislation and how it impacts the product.
  • A track record of success supporting commercial initiatives.
  • Direct experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare industry.
  • Flexible, organised with high levels of planning and organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good listener and speaking up attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as being self-motivated.
  • Willingness to take initiative and become directly involved in planning, problem solving and execution of work in a team environment.
  • Continuously expanding product and market knowledge
  • Anticipates future industry trends and opportunities, proactively develops plans to address these and communicates them to senior management.
  • IT skills (MS Office – Excel and Power Point mainly)
  • Very good command of English
