Invenia has partnered with a global pharmaceutical company seeking a Business Development Manager to join the team. Here, you will lead all external and internal business development efforts to support the growth of the company.

Role responsibilities: 

If successful, you will search for and evaluate product acquisition and licensing targets, regularly come up with ideas and opportunities that can build the portfolio for the company, and present business development opportunities to Executive leadership on a regular basis.

Contributing to forming the strategy of the company and reporting directly to the President of the organization, you will perform all business development functions including opportunity identification, evaluation, financial modelling, negotiations, and due diligence. Additionally, you will work with executive management to contribute to corporate development and strategy.

What we are looking for: 

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical sector, oncology experience is preferred (3 years+ minimum), as well a strong knowledge & experience in the drug development process required, strong financial modelling capabilities (DCF, NPV, scenario analysis) required and experience taking deals from identification through closing. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
