Invenia has exclusively partnered with a manufacturer of disruptive technology of Spatial Genomics instrumentation. Following a strong first funding round and the conclusion of a second round, the company is seeking to make its first commercial hires to form the core of its sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at an early stage and revolutionize the accuracy of cancer genomics. This role offers strong progression opportunities within a growing team while working with people who are truly passionate about the technology they represent.

Role responsibilities

You will work as part of a team of 6 Business Development Managers reporting directly to the newly appointed CCO. Your territory will cover Seattle, Oregon & North California. The key duties of the role include setting the sales strategy and representing the product to early adopters, while working closely with the Executive team.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with an understanding of gene expression / single cell / microscopy with the ability to sell complex instrumentation from a technical perspective. You will enjoy working in a company with a true start-up mentality.

Capital equipment sales experience is a must but experience of selling services is also desirable.

This role comes with a highly lucrative basic salary uncapped commission + equity + 401k + healthcare.
