Invenia Group is partnering with a company that is at the forefront of developing and implementing high-content imaging-based, phenotypic cell assays for mechanism of action studies (MOA) and target validation for preclinical models.

The company is seeking a Cell Biology Scientist I/II who has experience with mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy to join the team in San Diego. You will be responsible for developing and executing cell biology experiments, and receive training in cutting edge, drug-discovery models, imaging, and analysis techniques in a range of different therapeutic areas.

Role responsibilities:

Here, you will be responsible for designing and managing cell biology experiments (IPS models), operating automated liquid handling robots, and executing immunofluorescence staining for high-content imaging. As well as, troubleshooting assay development initiatives and processing and visualizing data.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Ph.D. in biology or a related discipline. You should be passionate about mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy. You will ideally have between 0-5 years post-doctoral experience, and be capable of communicating data, with exceptional attention to detail.
