Role responsibilities:

We are seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the clinical development of our pipeline of ADCs and provide strategic guidance to their executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including investors.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on clinical development and regulatory matters, including product development plans, risk management, and clinical trial strategies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including investors, to ensure alignment of clinical development plans with overall corporate goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines, including FDA regulations, and maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Build and manage a high-performing clinical development team, including clinical operations, medical monitoring, and data management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators, and represent the company at scientific meetings and conferences.
  • Manage clinical trial budgets and timelines, and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with an MD or equivalent degree and at least 14 years of experience in clinical development in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a track record of success in leading clinical programs. You should also possess the following:

  • Previous CMO experience
  • Previous experience with solid tumor indications and experience with ADC programs would be a plus
  • Deep understanding of clinical trial design, protocol development, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing relationships with investors and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and commercial.
