Invenia Group is partnering with a growing company that is at the forefront of the development of new life-changing medicines, and currently seeking an NGS Scientist to join their team in Massachusetts.

Here, you will have a key focus on discovering new targets for drug delivery helping to identify medicines for patients with cancer and autoimmune diseases. The team works with the development and operation of single-cell and NGS workflows on an industrial scale. Role responsibilities:

Here, you will become part of the platform team and be responsible for the execution and analysis of single-cell and NGS workflows. You will develop and validate cutting- edge single cell-based technologies, as well as bring in new ideas for single-cell genomic interrogation experiments. You will also establish and maintain “sample to data” workflows and SOPs specific to different projects and applications, and be able to communicate your findings in team meetings.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Ph.D. in molecular biology or a related discipline or a master’s degree in molecular biology or a related discipline with 5 years of experience. You should be passionate about exploring new methods and assays for NGS applications, as well as working with cutting-edge technologies, and you should have experience with NGS techniques, including Illumina sequencing technologies.
