Invenia Group is partnering with a leading biotechnology company that is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge innovative tools and services that accelerate scientific discovery. We are looking for an NGS Scientist to join their growing team based in San Jose.
Role responsibilities:
If successful, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing experiments. You will have a huge influence on the reproductive health technology space by proposing brand-new ideas and developing them into commercial products. You will support and lead NGS assay development, workflow optimization, data analysis, and application development.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a Ph.D. in a relevant field, and between 2- 5 years of experience in either academia or industry. You should be skilled in the areas of NGS and other molecular biology-based assay development. Experience with laboratory procedures, protocols, and state-of-art instruments in PCR, qPCR, and sequencing.
