Invenia Group has partnered with an international developer of pharmaceuticals with a global network of branch offices and holdings in over 30 countries. The company is now seeking a motivated Project Manager to join the growing team. Here, you will join the company’s Lifecycle Management department and be accountable for the identification of quality and cost improvements of existing products and successful project delivery.

This role is remote across Europe, however, the ideal candidate will be based in Germany.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Analysis of the generics pharma product portfolio to recognise and prioritise opportunities for lifecycle optimisation – finding new sources of APIs, technical transfers, mitigation of cost increases, etc
  • Coordination of the evaluation of lifecycle management projects with other cross-functional groups
  • Control and coordination of technical assessments of project-related risks
  • Manage and mitigate deviations – planning, monitoring, and documenting time and expenditure
  • Cross-functional management of global project teams and act as the first point of call for external stakeholders
  • Investigation and coordination of yearly analysis of pruning candidates in the portfolio

What we are looking for: 

We are looking for someone with a scientific, business, or economic degree and background in project management – classical and agile methodology (ideal) – PMP or Prince 2 certifications preferred. You should have 3 years of experience in the management of projects or sub-projects in the pharmaceutical (generics) industry – understanding of commercial, technical, and regulatory aspects of manufacturing and familiarity with IT applications – MS Office, ARIS, Salesforce. You should also possess the following:

  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system
  • Previous working knowledge of APIs
  • Open and communicative professional – great problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, teamwork and ability to lead projects
  • Professional level of English
  • Ability to travel to Hamburg, Germany if not based there
