Invenia Group is partnered with a leading international pharmaceutical company, who are seeking a Product Manager to lead the optimisation of the existing retail product portfolio, through product enhancement/ differentiation analysis, pricing optimisation, competitor analysis and demand fluctuation management.

The Retail Product Manager will act as the central point of communication between commercial and operations for top INN’s.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will set and approve minimum prices for target retail INN’s to ensure EMENA harmonisation and be responsible for proactive stock and sales reviews to ensure proactive supply planning is achieved. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Comprehensive competitive review of Top INN’s periodically and Non high Priority INN’s ad hoc
  • Take market insights from knowledge centre, other areas of business and produce proactive actions to optimize sales
  • Review products periodically to ensure packaging, shelf life, batch sizes etc. are optimal as either market leading or in line with competition
  • Manage high priority launches once handed over from NPL team.
  • Provide a central point on communication between operations and commercial on key Generic launches
  • Understand the market dynamics of each product to ensure demand fluctuations can be managed through the supply chain
  • Produce regular KPI’s to track performance and drive improvements
  • Low margin product commercial action planning
  • Manage hotlist priorities for retail products
  • Product specific execution of BCG activities
  • Work with marketing to ensure materials and studies are executed in line with commercial priorities
  • Competitor profiling
  • SMART allocation decisions for shortages.

Skills & experience required:

We are looking for someone with Project Management experience, as well as pharmaceutical/healthcare experience (generics preferred) and excellent IT skills including MS Office (Excel & Word), ability to effectively manipulate and analyse data. You should also possess the following skills:

  • Excellent communication in written, oral and presentation skills
  • Ability and understanding of working in an international cross-cultural organization

  • Ability to build teams, motivate people and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent organisational and time management skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Motivated individual who is flexible and willing to learn continuous best practice.
  • Proven track record of delivering meaningful presentations to senior leadership team
