Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their dynamic team in the Paris region. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving awareness of our client’s innovative products and services, while also developing and executing a strategic business plan for the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the EMEA South Sales Director, collaborate with a global team of sales and market development professionals to achieve commercial targets and enhance awareness of our client’s products in the Paris region.
  • Work closely with the Market Development and Inside Sales teams to identify and support business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the territory, contributing to the overall growth strategy.
  • Maintain and nurture top-tier relationships and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across diverse research fields.
  • Identify new opportunities and emerging markets within the territory.
  • Understand funding cycles and decision-making processes within the territory.
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon targets for our client’s technologies.
  • Adhere to standardized methodologies for tracking, recording, and documenting relevant commercial insights gained from customer interactions.
  • Travel up to 60 – 70% of the time within the territory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Life Sciences preferred.
  • Proven track record as a commercial professional with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in presenting and negotiating complex products or services.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills to engage with customers and internal partners across diverse international teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and budget management.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic account management.
  • Comfortable working independently in a matrixed sales and service environment.
  • Fluent in both English and French.
  • Location: Paris Region
