Our client is seeking an experienced sales and marketing leader to drive the strategic direction of the UK and Ireland speciality brands team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of sales revenue, volume and profit objectives of the Company UK and IE branded portfolio. To develop the franchise strategy to ensure that the Company becomes a leading player in portfolio-selected brand products over the next 5 years. Responsibility for the overall UK and IE branded P&L.
  • Leadership and management of sales, marketing, and market access functions, driving best practices as part of the Company’s Key Account Management program, SFE metrics, and marketing support programs.
  • Monitor and control of Company brand product performance including monthly and quarterly reporting in line with company and business unit requirements. Identify and develop a KOL support network as appropriate.
  • Leadership of key cross-functional and external meetings e.g.: New Product Planning, KOL Meetings, Franchise updates, SFE and CRM development, patient advocacy, PR and comms, and business/market intelligence.
  • Relationship management of key external customers and influencers/trade bodies.
  • Management of cost centre spending within a budget. Planning and budgeting for 3 YP period and NPL launch and pre-launch activities.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Significant successful managerial experience in the UK and IE pharmaceutical market in speciality branded pharma or equivalent.
  • Sales management / Product management experience. Successful track record in new product introductions. Demonstrable appreciation of commercial aspects of branded product markets.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen. Strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence and maintain relationships at all levels in internal and external relationships. Experience in managing change.
  • Ability to build and manage internal and external networks.
  • High degree of self-motivation and long-term commitment, capable of initiating, sustaining and completing profitable growth plans.
  • Highly developed leadership and decision-making skills.
