The Role:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will focus on successful systems designs to help produce electrical medical equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead projects to design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical medical equipment for the domestic and international markets
- Ensure these projects are completed on time and within budget
- Prepare technical documents including system architecture, system design documents, feasibility tests reports, and design requirements documents
- Lead and document Design Reviews and technical reviews.
- Troubleshoot customer complaints
- Ensure operational and safety standards are followed
- Train junior team members
- Responsible for DHF deliverables e.g. Risk Management, Usability, Traceability and V&V.
What we are looking for:
- Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, and extensive experience in electronic engineering design.
- Proven ability to design & prototype digital circuits, debug multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Experience with lab testing, evaluation and characterization of prototypes
- In-lab testing, evaluation and characterization of prototypes testing
- Working knowledge of PCB layout tools, FPGA design and CAD tools
- General knowledge of embedded hardware development.
Desirable experience:
- Knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 14971 and risk management techniques
- Medical device experience
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days onsite a week.
In return, the company is offering a salary of up to $155k depending on experience plus a 10% bonus and excellent benefits.
