Senior Scientist

Invenia Group has partnered with a growing organization currently looking for a Senior Scientist to add to its team of experts. This is the first role type like this within the company so it will be hands-on bench work but it will also give you the opportunity to grow the team in the future.

Role responsibilities: 

If successful, you will have the opportunity to design oligonucleotide structures for use in multiplex biomolecule detection assays (IHC, IF, in-situ hybridization, etc.).

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Oligonucleotide Chemist who is passionate about developing and commercializing complex novel technologies. You will also possess the following skills:

• A Ph.D. in nanotechnology, materials science, biophysics, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or organic chemistry
• Experience designing and characterizing DNA nanostructures or self-assembling oligonucleotides
• Success innovation of new chemistries got nucleic acid synthesis
• Knowledge of physical organic/biophysical chemistry for the novel synthesis of biopolymers
