Invenia Group is partnering with a manufacturer and distributor of life science research reagents and services that are being used to accelerate scientific discovery. Due to growth, the company is looking to hire a Senior Software Developer to join their team in San Jose, CA.
Role responsibilities:
If successful, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software that is used internally by employees to meet the company’s business needs. This includes maintaining and improving in-house software, and databases, as well as integrations between various applications e.g. Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, etc.
In this role, you will need to understand the business users’ needs to appraise, select and integrate standard software programming, procedures, and criteria. In addition, it will make any necessary modifications and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with an educational background in software engineering (ideally a master’s or higher) and extensive programming experience with at least one modern language e.g. Java, C++, or C#. You should have extensive database administration and development experience. Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation is a plus. Knowledge and experience in database backup procedures are required.
Extensive Salesforce administration and experience developing in Apex, VitalSource, Lightning Web Components, and other technologies to build Salesforce customized solutions are also essential for this role.
