VP of Business Development

Are you a Business Development Executive looking for new opportunities in the AI Drug Discovery Space?

I am currently working with a leading start-up operating in the AI Drug Development space, which is looking to add a VP of Business Development to its growing team.

Having recently closed a round of funding over £25M my client is in a high growth phase and looking for a tried and tested BD lead, with a proven track record of driving collaborations with leading pharma organs on a global scale.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a proven track record of driving commercial success within an AI/ML-enabled drug development or precision medicine setting.
• Have a pre-existing network of decision makers within the Pharma space, ideally including a strong network of senior R&D leaders.
• Anticipate licensing out of the internal pipeline.
• Have 8+ years experience in BD, sales, or strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry, with AI experience. Experience within a disruptive and high-growth start-up is preferable.
• Display a strong acumen for developing sales/BD teams. Hiring, training, and managing.
• Have a high-level understanding of the science behind the solutions and their applications, and be able to adopt a consultative approach when interfacing with prospects.
