VP of Marketing

Invenia Group has partnered with a manufacturer of cutting-edge instrumentation with innovative applications within Proteomics. Their technology gives researchers the opportunity to study the proteome at a much-improved scale, resolution, and sensitivity than they’ve been previously able to do.

Due to substantial investment and growth, they are seeking a Vice President of Marketing, this is an onsite role so the right candidate needs to be based in San Diego.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the following:

• Own and execute a corporate brand development and awareness strategy
• Partner with the team to lead, develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics to achieve growth objectives while monitoring progress against achieving growth metrics.
• Participate in strategy and planning sessions with executives, shape the stories for appropriate audiences, and identify channels to distribute the stories through the press, social media, or digital resources.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of building and driving market awareness, specifically with experience within the proteomics, molecular biology, or DNA sequencing markets & bachelor’s degree in life science.
